Belgium’s all-time top goalscorer Romelu Lukaku has been selected to represent his country for the World Cup in Qatar.
The striker, who is currently on loan at Inter Milan from Chelsea, has only played in five matches this season as he is currently carrying a thigh injury.
There is hope that Lukaku will be able to play in the World Cup, with Roberto Martinez showing his confidence in the striker that has 68 national team goals to his name.
Brighton winger Leandro Trossard will also be flying to Qatar, having been one of his club’s best performers in the current season, which included a hat-trick against Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League.

Champions League winner Thibaut Courtois is also included, while Martinez has selected former Tottenham Hotspur duo Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen in defence.
Martinez has sprung a few surprises with the inclusion of RC Lens’ Lois Openda and 19-year-old centre-back Zeno Debast from Anderlecht.
However, the big absentee from Belgium is former Liverpool forward Divock Origi, who has struggled for playing time this season since his move to Serie A champions AC Milan.
