Buffalo Bills edge rusher Von Miller is out for the season after undergoing ACL repair surgery, coach Sean McDermott said Wednesday. Here’s what you need to know:
- Miller, 33, was placed on the injured reserve list on Dec. 1, meaning he would miss at least four games but could potentially return this season.
- He sustained the injury in the second quarter of the team’s Thanksgiving day win over the Lions. McDermott said Miller had exploratory surgery that showed an ACL tear.
- Miller entered that game with eight sacks, tied for 10th in the league, and with a 16 percent pressure rate, which ranked 10th among qualified pass rushers via TruMedia at that time.
